Congress Place Cemetery:
Ohev Sholom owns and operates Congress Place Cemetery in Washington, DC. Members of Ohev Sholom have access to burial plots as a membership benefit (burial fees required).

Visiting the Cemetery
Our cemetery is located at 3237 15th Place, SE, in Washington, DC, and open for visitors Sunday through Thursday from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Friday 9:00 AM to 1:00PM (Closed on Shabbat & Jewish Holidays).

Directions to the Cemetery
Please use 3237 15th Place, SE, Washington, DC as the street address when using a GPS or an online mapping tool.

Go South on 16th Street to Military Road
Turn left on Military Road, cross Georgia Avenue, and proceed East on Missouri Avenue
Turn right on North Capital Street
After Florida Avenue, take the first ramp on the right up to New York Avenue
Turn right on New York Avenue, keeping to the far left lane
Watch for overhead signs directing traffic to US 395
Enter tunnel and move into right lane
Stay in the 2nd lane from the left
Watch for overhead sign to Anacostia
Where the four underground lanes divide, head towards Anacostia
There are now 2 lanes; stay in the right lane
Watch for the South Capital Street overhead sign
Take the next right down the ramp to South Capital Street
Stay on South Capital Street and cross the South Capital Street Bridge
Exit left onto Suitland Parkway
Turn right at the second light onto Stanton Road
Turn right on Alabama Ave. for one long block.
Turn right on 15th Place, S.E.
Turn left at the second open street at Congress Place
Pass the chapel and turn right into the Ohev Sholom Cemetery
