8:00 PM - 9:00 PMThe Real Meaning of Tikkun Ha'Olam with Rabbanit Sara Wolkenfeld
Tikkun Olam is often translated as "repairing the world" but in its Talmudic context the term refers to distinct legislation to prevent harm to society and protect those who are vulnerable. In this class, we will study passages from Tractate Gittin in depth, with relevant commentaries, to better understand the rabbinic usage of this concept.
