NEW! Sukkah Hop Hosts Needed - It's that time of year again - time to "hop" to it and join our annual Sukkah party on Sunday, October 1st, 4 - 5:30 pm! Do you have a sukkah? Do you enjoy having guests? Do you love the chaos that comes with a dozen people all showing up to your house at once? Then sign up to host a station for Ohev's Sukkah Hop! We are looking for people to host a station on one of three routes - 1) North Shepherd Park / East Colonial Village, 2) South Shepherd Park, and 3) Montgomery County / West Colonial Village. Garbage, Compost, Recycling: A Toddler’s Theology of Teshuva - Join us on the afternoon of Shabbat Shuva (Sept 23) at 4:30 PM to learn about how getting ready for Yom Kippur is like getting ready for the (second) most important day of the week - Garbage Day! Bring your favorite trash truck to the Tot Shabbat room and come ready for Trash Truck storytime, games, and a snack. (This event is geared at ages 0-4, but older garbage truck enthusiasts are also welcome.)

The Capital Closet will be open to this community this Sunday, September 10th from 10am-11am. Come peruse our beautiful, curated selection of clothing for women, men, and children, as well as Torah School uniforms! Our new address is 9601 Colesville Road, Silver Spring, MD 20901. The Closet entrance is in the back of the building up a full flight of stairs.
