Shabbat Morning Youth Groups - To maintain decorum and safety and security, we ask that all children under Bar/Bat Mitzvah remain in the sanctuary during davening or else participate in youth group programming. Thank you for your cooperation.
Tots (ages 18M - 3 years): Babysitting available beginning at 9:15am in the Tots Room. Tot Shabbat will begin at 11:00am. Parent participation is encouraged for this family program, but babysitting will remain available and ongoing until the end of service

Minyan Corner Elevate your week! Please join us at our weekday Shacharit and Mincha/Maariv minyanim. Sign up in advance to help us ensure we have minyanim and strong participation for those saying Kaddish.
Thank you to all who participated in the recent poll on Friday evening service times. The poll showed that more community members would like Kabbalat Shabbat to be at 6:45pm through the summer than those who preferred a later time. We will not be making changes to the Friday evening schedule at this time.

Thursday, July 25th at 8:00 PM Co-sponsored by Ohev Sholom - Young Israel Shomrei Emunah hosts the community in welcoming Varda and Eitan Morell who will speak about their son Maoz z"l, who fell in battle in Gaza.
They will share the inspirational story of his heroism in life and death in the context of three generations of Jewish survival and strength. More info here!
Tzohar & Teen Beit Midrash - Partnership Between Ohr Kodesh Congregation and Ohev Sholom Congregation Tzohar is an innovative program that combines classical Jewish education with an introduction to college-level Jewish Studies coursework.

From Rabbi Wolkenfeld: I am traveling to Jerusalem to participate in the Rabbinic Leadership Initiative at the Sholom Hartman Institute and will not return to Washington until July 25th. While I am traveling and while I am abroad there may be delays in my ability to respond to email.
