Youth & Family Programs

Ohev Sholom - The National Synagogue® is blessed to have a vibrant and growing youth community. We have created a wide variety of programming, events, and learning that are aimed at our youth and their families, including weekly learning, Shabbat groups, and a vibrant summer camp. Shorashim

Shorashim is our after school program for children in Pre-K (3 years old) through 2nd grade. Join us on Thursday afternoons for Torah study, parsha exploration, games and activities, and more. 

Thursdays 4:00pm-5:30pm (3-year-old track begins at 3:45pm)

High Holidays

Babysitting is available for children 4 & under.
Cost: $25 per child, per day.
Pre-registration is required.
Rosh Hashanah 1: Monday, September 30, 8:30am-2:00pm
Rosh Hashanah 2: Tuesday, October 1, 8:30am-2:00pm
Kol Nidre: Tuesday, October 8, 6:30pm-9:00pm
Yom Kippur: Wednesday, October 8, 8:30am-2:00pm

High Holiday Experience is available for children ages 5 & up.
Cost: FREE.
Pre-registration is requested.
Rosh Hashanah 1: Monday, September 30, 10:30am-2:00pm
Rosh Hashanah 2: Tuesday, October 1, 10:30am-2:00pm
Yom Kippur: Wednesday, October 9, 10:30am-2:00pm
